This is Ryder! My family rescued my sweet girl a few years ago from an abusive home. Thankfully one of my dearest friends is a dog trainer with two service dogs of her own. (Shout out to my four legged nieces Karma and Calliope❤️ the best trained dogs I've ever met) We have never been able to get Ryder in a kennel. Her old owner used to leave her in her kennel for hours as punishment. Anytime we tried to get her into one she would tremble and cry and it was a big source of anxiety for her. Now she goes in happily and it's becoming a safe space for her in no time at all. We are working on transitioning her indoors full time and training her so we can take her everywhere with us and she will be in her best behavior.
